Shelly Talcott

Shelly Talcott is Chief Operating Officer of the Neighborhood Impact Investment Fund. She has over 15 years of leadership experience in mission-driven organizations and most recently was Chief of Staff at Global Refuge, a nonprofit dedicated to serving children and families seeking refuge in the United States. Prior to that role, Shelly was Chief of Staff at Corus International, where she supported the merger of two INGOs, Lutheran World Relief (LWR) and IMA World Health (IMA), creating an integrated group of humanitarian aid organizations working across more than 20 countries. Shelly’s professional career is rooted in marketing and communications, including positions at the University of Minnesota, HealthPartners, the Network for Public Health Law, and LWR. She has an English degree from Gustavus Adolphus College, served on the Board of Directors for Girls on the Run, and currently serves on the Board of Directors for Augsburg Fortress. She was also a Bowe Fellow in the World Trade Center Institute’s Emerging and Developing Global Executives program in 2020. After growing up in the Twin Cities, Shelly calls Baltimore City home.
