DASH Named Finalist for the 2022 Ivory Prize

In February 2022, Ivory Innovations named the DASH Fund (Developing Affordable Starter Homes) one the top 25 finalists for the 2022 Ivory Prize for Housing Affordability.  Finalists were selected from 170 nominations across three categories – construction and design, finance, and public policy and regulatory reform – based on the program demonstrating ambitious, feasible, and scaleable solutions to housing affordability.

Launched in 2021 by the National Community Stabilization Trust (NCST) in a partnership with NIIF, Baltimore City DHCD and Dominion Financial Services, DASH is a pilot loan program designed to provide capital for local, small developers to create affordable homeownership opportunities and support neighborhood revitalization.

The Ivory Prize is awarded annually by Ivory Innovations, a public/private partnership housed at the University of Utah’s Eccles School of Business.  Ivory Innovations has a mission to “promote the most compelling ideas in housing affordability by working across sectors, providing monetary awards for groundbreaking innovations and leveraging its network and resources.”  More than $200,000 dollars in prize money will be distributed between at least three winners
